ABOUT THE COLLERAN FIRM
History
The Colleran Firm was founded in 1995 by James E. Colleran, Esquire. Prior to
opening the firm, Mr. Colleran practiced with a local Philadelphia personal injury
firm for 26 years, during which he developed a legendary reputation as Philadelphia's
most feared personal injury lawyer.
Mr. Colleran opened the firm along with his three oldest children, James E. Colleran,
Jr., Esquire; Francis T. Colleran, Esquire; and Teresa Colleran Quinn, Esquire.
In 2000, Mr. Colleran's youngest child, David J. Colleran, Esquire, joined the firm
after completing a prestigious federal clerkship under the Honorable John P. Fullam.
Most recently, The Colleran Firm has proudly added A. Christine Giordano, Esquire
and Denine M. Moscariello, Esquire to the firm.
Who We Represent
The Colleran Firm vigorously represents injured individuals in complex medical
malpractice cases (including brain and spinal cord injuries, birth injuries, cardiac
injuries, failing to diagnose cancer, surgical errors, etc.), automobile cases, product
liability cases and premises liability cases.
During its 10 years of operation, The Colleran Firm has enjoyed extraordinary success,
repeatedly securing multimillion dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of its
clients. As reported in the June 17, 2004 edition of the Philadelphia Business
Journal, the Colleran Firm consistently ranks among the leaders in securing jury
awards, despite employing only seven attorneys.
